I'm actually expecting it's only CGDCT and Slice of Life but the action really makes it good.

I wish it was clarified exactly what happened when Haikagura and Inaba’s eyes lit up during the post credits. I’d like to think they established a link with Haizakura that somehow helped to restore her memories, but I guess we will never know…if not, then hopefully Haizakura managed to make tons of happy new memories with everyone after she was reset. T^T

Haizakura was reseted. But maybe that rabbit thing had a memory download from kagu.

Come to think of it, this anime is close to Vivy Fluorite eye's song, this is how Vivy's story should have ended, all her sisters from Singularity Project are safe, and they sang to together to stop Archive.

Another masterpiece of feels from KEY.
Seems to me any time we get any kind of automata girl with a soul, any that make you really think just what it is that defines the difference between human and machine they get the sad ending.

What does it truly mean to be human, what's really the difference between an intelligent, feeling and sentient machine and the humans who came before it?

Robot anime girls who seem to be human in everything except composite materials almost always end up this way. It's always a sad ending.
Just look at Chi from Chobits, Vivy, Isla from Plasmem..

I'm saying this here. Haizakura's smile on Opening song is Priceless to see.

It's sad that she just forgot everything... She forgot everything they went through together, she forgot them themselves, she forgot everything, and even though she had few memories left, she decided to "recreate"...
Although now Haizakura can create a lot more new memories, and she also said that the feeling of being together will never disappear, but all this time that was erased from her, it's just really sad 😢💔💔💔💔
I wonder if Nagi will be able to bring her back to the way she was... I really hope there will be a second season, even though it is clear that this is the end and it is absolute, but I still want to hope 😕...
In any case, despite everything she forgot, it was a beautiful ending and not just sad, it was really beautiful, and I enjoyed this anime very, very much and I really love it ❤️❤️❤️

Oh no... Haizaukura... :[ Well it's a bittersweet ending but still a good series.

In a manner of speaking, she's dead. Our sweet, clumsy, kind-hearted, girl is quite dead.... Damn it all

Thankfully, no human seemed to have been killed (which was overly convenient. I mean, for real? That's just some unrealistic luck!)

But, if I have to be honest and say it out from deep within my heart...
I rate this anime 10/10. Recommended.

The ending is sad but this anime will be memorable.

OK, this is gonna be a late review, but a late review I wanna do nonetheless. Prima Doll was brought to you by Bibury Animation Studios, the studio behind S2 of Gotoubun, as well as the Gotoubun movie. They've also released Azur Lane and Black Rock Shooter Dawn Fall.

If I had to sum this up, this is basically a moe equivalent to KyoAni's Violet Evergarden except focused on 5 dolls. Both shows share a ton of similarities, from a post-war European setting, how people are affected from said war, and ofc the feels department, which like Violet, this show doesn't play, this show WILL sucker punch and then kick you in the gut in the feels department HARD.

The voice acting is easily my favorite aspect, with Azumi Waki standing out as the voice of Haizakura. And if you're a fan of Love Live Nijigasaki, you'll notice Setsuna and Kanata's VA's Tomori Kusunoki and Akari Kitou voice Karasuba and Retzel respectively. The music is also quite solid, and the character design is quite nice!

The only major complaint I have is the ending, which unfortunately is a bit rushed. The only other issue would be the CGI on the automatons. They can offputting to look at for some, but as long as you're not looking TOO close, it should be fine. That being said, this is a hidden gem, and easily one of my personal favorites this year. If you haven't already, I recommend watching Violet Evergarden. Just make sure you have tissues and a tub of ice cream; if you're lactose, the tissue will do the job just fine.
Final Verdict: 8/10

Just what I expected from Key.
Overall, it is a good anime but can't say it's one of the bests.

But I'll forever be a fan of Key, and of Kun Maeda.

Jun. Maeda Jun. Amazing writer and composer. Too bad he can't work with 1-cour. It's too short.

GEEZ this one was tough to watch even for me since she risked it all and then we lose her.

Thats Key alright. I knew it was coming but still hitting hard. Not the best from them but still good. May I say the ost is good too.

It was a great ending...but losing Haizakura broke me once again...it is particularly painful for those like me, who've had to deal with family suffering amnesia...just like the first episode, this one made me suffer a lot...but it was still a fantastic episode to wrap up the series...

So, we got sad ending here. Haizakura v1 deceased, Haizakura v2 born.

Haizakura got reset to factory settings... but it's okay. T'was an awesome show. Goodbye Prima Dolls. You will be missed.

You know there were lots of hints of HAI Chan being a rabbit robot the opening with the lonely bunny dancing alone on stage her hair looks like rabbit ears plus she even got an inaba doll

For some reason the doodles in Haizakura's diary getting messed up in the rain got to me the most, though Gekka shivering through her tears is a close second.

Well knowing it's KEY from the start I waited for the sad episode to come. I never know which character it will be . Haizakura was truly my favorite in this show.
Also the visual was so beautiful in this show just joy to my eyes.

The distant anime relative to Vivy Fluorite Eye's song, because all it takes is one song to shutdown the AI madness.

I came for the ice cream song, and got molested with sadness at the ending
